Canister Guide

A time capsule for your spouse or partner

Write what you feel today — gratitude, apology, dreams — and let them open it on an anniversary, birthday, or quiet Tuesday years from now.

Words you are not ready to say out loud

Some messages need distance — not because they are secret, but because timing matters. A time capsule for your spouse lets you be honest now and generous with when they receive it.

Beyond flowers and last-minute cards

Material gifts fade. A sealed letter with optional photos is a deliberate signal that you thought about a future moment together.

Shared unlock, private sealing

You encrypt and seal the capsule yourself. Share the access key when you want them to be able to open it on the unlock date. Reminder emails can notify both of you as the day approaches.

Common questions

Can my spouse read the message before the unlock date?

Not if they do not have early access to the key and the unlock date has not arrived. Content stays encrypted until conditions are met.

Is this only for married couples?

No. Any partners can use Canister the same way for birthdays, anniversaries, or personal milestones.

What plan fits a letter with a few photos?

Signature ($12 one-time) supports unlimited text and up to five attachments with a five-year unlock horizon. Choose Legacy for longer horizons.
